The truth is, dark underarms aren’t random—and they’re rarely permanent. They’re the result of a step that’s either being overlooked… or done incorrectly.

Because brightening this area isn’t about doing more — it’s about using the right products in the correct order. Once you understand what’s actually causing the discoloration, the shift becomes less about trial and error and more about intention.

What Causes Hyperpigmentation?

It can be a mix of things like:

• Friction (tight clothes, skin rubbing)

• Irritation (shaving, harsh deodorants, over-exfoliating)

So today, I’m sharing my exact routine — the same one that took my hair from dry ends and random breakage to long, soft, glossy, compliment-worthy hair.

Length doesn’t always equal health.

Yes, your hair is always growing — but things like breakage, dryness, and lack of moisture can stop you from retaininglength. That’s why I built my routine around:

My Weekly Routine: Simple But Effective

Step One | Wash Based on Sweat, Not “Rules” (3–4x Per Week)

I work out 6x a week, so I don’t follow the whole “only wash your hair once or twice a week” rule.

I wash my hair 3–4 times a week, depending on how much I sweat.

Here’s how I decide:

✦ Heavy sweat days → I wash my hair, this is non-negotiable.

✦ Light workout days → I refresh with dry shampoo and wash the next day

I learned that letting sweat sit on your scalp for too long can actually lead to buildup, irritation, and slower growth — so I listen to my body instead of hair myths.
